Toroidal transformers can be mounted horizontally onto PCBs or into a case using a special Steel- or Poly-Mount Washer, or using a plastic insert. Also vertical mounting is possible. Our engineering staff can help you on selecting the right mounting method and hardware.
 

 For some applications, depending on primary and secondary voltages, a toroidal construction can offer important advantages in comparison with an E/I lamination core transformer, like smaller physical size and weight, 30-70% reduction and very low magnetic stray fields.
