Using and Operating

Fit trinocular tube part on bending arm, tighten the screw.

Screw off protecting cover; install various magnification objectives on rotating nosepiece in alphabetical, insert – needed eyepiece in eyepiece tube.

Lay specimen flake on double – deck stage, clamp down by specimen holding device, and move to center of view with moving knob.

Close – up source (AC 220V or AC 110V) turn on switch, regulate handle, and can be obtained needing brightness of observation. According to needing to choose appropriate filter.

Adjustment of pupil distance
Move regulating slide of pupil distance, adjust interval of eyepiece tube, in order a suitable pupil distance of observer. This distance can be read among scale of regulating slide.
Turn pupil distance regulating ring of eyepiece tube, conform the reading number to pupil distance.

Turn iris diaphragm, continuously change aperture angle of condenser, fit it on numerical aperture of objective, condenser can rise and descend. Optical axis of condenser must coincide with duplication optical axis of objective (has been rectified). If it had deviation, could adjust three screws on condenser supporter to revise.

First, use 10x objective, to observe, turn coarse focusing knob, up to appear confusing image at field of view, then turn fine focusing knob, make the image clear and precise, after that adjust other high-power objective (100x objective needs use cedar oil). This time, only need to adjust fine focusing knob can obtain clear image. 10x, 100x objectives have spring laded, can prevent it colliding with section.

Adjust the limit.
Get appropriate degree of tightness and Loss ness of the coarse focusing knob when turn holding adjustment knob. Note: don’t adjust too tight, in order to avoid the stage dropping or locked.
Stopper knob can provide fixed clear position of observation, as well can avoid objective touching specimen flake. The stage will be reached a fixed position when turn upon stopper knob. By this time, the position is upper limited of coarse knob, at this condition, can use fine focusing knob to adjust. After use, stage ought to descend to its original position.

Pull out handle, could attach camera or photograph sets on trinocular tube part.

Change lamp and fuse.

To screw on lamp support under electric appliance case, pull out lamp support could change lamp, screw off fuse cover, can change fuse.

Maintenance

  • The microscope should be kept in a place that is cool, dry, and clean, no acid, no-alkali and no-vapors. It should be put on dust guard after used.
  • All lenses and key organizations have been rectified, don’t take them apart.
  • The surface of lens should be kept clean. The dust in it should be blown off by balloon or should be cleaned off with soft brush. Oil dirt can be wiped off by absorbent cotton soaked in xylem or mixed liquid of alcohol and ether. Note: mixed must be leakage lenses.
  • The cedar oil on immersion objective must be cleaned off with xylene at once, after immersion objective was used, in case the cedar oil gets condensation to put back observation.
  • Put the objectives and eyepieces into the case after used, put in eyepiece tube cover and rotating nosepiece cover.
